Vaterland

The flag was created for the 9th of November 1988 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Progrom, the "Reichskristallnacht".

The "Reichskristallnacht" occurred on the 9th of November, 1938.

The opening of the Berlin Wall occurred on the 9th of November 1989.

The flag symbolizes a flowing together and a unification.  The flag serves a warning against the current rise of new-fascism and all fascist tendencies in the West and East Germany.

The flag encompasses the subjects: Hitler, Fascism, the Holocaust, the second world war (started and lost by Germans), the resulting division of Germany followed by the building of the wall.

Furthermore: The inheritance that has thus been forced upon future generations of Germans.

The flag encompasses, symbolizes the basic humanitarian ideas of peace and unity among all peoples and races in the world.
